About
Leave a commentMaria’s passion for the culinary art was sparked at a young age of 12 when she would play restaurant in her family’s kitchen. She is inspired by the culture, the people, and fresh local ingredients that Northern California has to offer. After years of being a professional sales woman by day and a closet cook by night, Maria finally went back to school to get her B.S. in Business from San Francisco State University and a certification in Culinary Arts from Le Cordon Bleu San Francisco. She has had the opportunity to learn from and work along side great Chef’s in New York City, San Francisco, and Oakland.
Now…Chef Maria Esquivel’s style is simple, Home-made treats with a Latin Freestyle signature. She believes in using local, organic, seasonal ingredients and has a vision of making and sharing the best, flavorful treats and recipes that everyone can enjoy. The ultimate goal is to build her brand and one day have a small cafe of her own.
